Finally...
I bought some new needles (yes, I went to Michaels - please don't hate me) Clover/Takumi bamboo size 8. Now I just have to make a center pull ball out of Dave's yarn and I'll be all set. Hopefully by then I'll know what kind of ribbing I want to do. I don't want it really stretchy so I was thinking maybe 4+2 or 3+1. I really don't know. We shall see what we shall see I suppose. I just kinda want to be knitting again. (Ignores existing scarf project already on needles)

Don't want stretchy? How about a no-ribbed cuff, like those Latvian-type? Or something like that? I want to try a pair like that next...

I'm not sure was Latvian is. I googled it and it looks quite complicated. I'm doing the 4 x 2 rib on the scarf, I think. I've cast on so we'll see if I like it enough not to have to rip it. I just love that Australian wool.
