Project completed
It's a Hat!
A GIANT hat. (aka Adult Large)
I am very pleased that this is completed (minus a few ends that still needed to be weaved in. The yarn is Lion Brand Wool-Ease. I used size 6 needles. gauge= 6 st/in. After trying the toe-up sock, I wondered about making a hat from the top down. I found a couple of patterns but didn't really want to use them as anything more than a guide so I started my hat, making it up as I went along. It did have a ribbed edge, but I messed up the bind off and couldn't figure out how to put it back on the needles so now it has a rolled edge. I did the Elizabeth Zimmerman's sewn cast off that I've seen a few places on line and I really like it. I almost didn't do it 'cause I don't like to sew.
So, thankfully, I can move on to the next project.
Stay cool!
