Surprise! Fiber content ahead...

Sorry for being so quiet. RL has a way of just zapping the energy out of you. But I have been knitting... just wasn't in the mood to blog about it ... so... onto the fiber chatter.

It's amazing what happens when people find out you knit. They give you yarn! It's happened twice this year. A lady at work had a skein in her desk and when she was cleaning out a drawer, she offered it to me.

And more recently, an online friend I've known for several years sent me an email offering me some that she had. I was expect just a few skeins, but look what she sent me!!!!



Twelve skeins of lovely yarn!! and it's soft too!

And the next day I received some other yarn I'd ordered for a crochet project - HC1 cotton yarn from the UK.



I currently finishing up a project that I will post when completed then I have to decide what to do next. There's a lady at work who is having a baby so I'd like to attempt to make baby socks (I'm not a big fan of booties). I think I've already found a pattern (Just Your Basic Baby Sock). It'll be good practice before I go back to trying that adult sock again.
