when a problem comes along...

...you must rip it.

The socks are no more. Two toes and all of one foot... Way too big, even for me to wear.

Twist and Shout!

Ok. So I didn't shout. But I did do a little twisting. Working on the sock I noticed a familiar hole in the stockinette - a mistake that I repeatedly do when doing stockinette stitch in the round. But I don't know what I do that creates the problem... so I don't know how to fix it ... but I digress. ....

So... I successfully ripped back about 4 rows but I then I ended up with a bunch of twisted stitches... but the good news is I now understand how to fix that problem!! It happened to me before and I had no clue what the problem was and ended up ripping up it all up. But I saved this one. Isn't it great when you can learn from your mistakes?

Ok ... on with the pictorial progress report....
